Cumberland Grange Care Home in Exeter recently supported Age UK Exeter by donating hampers for Silver Sunday, which took place on Sunday, October 2.

Silver Sunday is a national day which aims to combat loneliness and isolation in communities.

Cumberland Grange was thrilled to do its bit by putting together hampers full of goodies which could go out to older people within Exeter.

In order to distribute the hampers, Penny Unitt and Karen Brooks from Age UK offered to find them the best homes.

Cumberland Grange’s home services advisor Mica said: “Knowing that these hampers will go to great homes means an awful lot to not just me, but our residents, too. It is always wonderful to link up with Age UK as we know just how much people within the community rely on it. It does incredible things and supports so many people.”
