University training corps hosts graduation ceremonies for rainy season camping program

University training corps under the command of the Directorate of Militia and Border Forces, Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence (Army), provided the first-year basic military training course, the second-year basic military education course and the first-year advanced military education course to teachers and students volunteered from various universities for the purpose of gaining knowledge about national defense, providing support when carrying out the duties of the future state and strengthening love for the country, the patriotism and belief, and having high perception and full competence starting from October 1.
The graduation ceremonies of these courses were held in the halls of local training schools in Nay Pyi Taw Council area, Hmawby Township in Yangon Region, Mongmaw town, Myitta Township in Mandalay Region, and Taungoo in Bago Region on November 14.
To these graduation ceremonies, the regional commanders and officials from the relevant regional military headquarters, trainers, teachers, students and those who were invited, attended, and regional commanders and officials gave speeches at the end of the training.
After that, the regional commanders and officials gave souvenirs and awards for the rainy season camping training courses to students who won medals and they were received by the officials and awardees respectively, and the regional commanders and officials bid farewell to the trainees.
In these courses, the trainings provided the physical fitness subject, Burmese martial arts subject, military subject, small arms subject, individual battlefield skills subject, military strategy subject, conceptual subject, field engineering studies subject, health and first aid subjects and practical shooting lessons at the machine gun range in addition to external study tours to gain general knowledge to a total of 768 teachers and students for a period of 7 weeks in 2023-2024 academic year.
