Three people arrested following 'suspicious' death of child in Tyrone

A postmortem will now take place however the PSNI has stated they are treating the death as "suspicious"

Three people have been arrested following the death of a child in Dungannon, Co. Tyrone.

The two women and one man were arrested following the discovery of a dead child at a property in the Windmill Court area of the town on Sunday.

A postmortem will now take place however the PSNI has stated they are treating the death as "suspicious".

The two women and one man are all in their 20s.

"A man and two women, all aged in their 20s, have been arrested following the death of a child at an address in the Windmill Court area of Dungannon on Sunday 13 October," said a PSNI spokesperson.

"A postmortem will take place to determine the cause of death, however the death is currently being treated as suspicious.

"There are no further details."
