Just over one week ago, authorities published the CCTV images of 99 'Persons of Interest' on the Garda website with the intention of ruling the individuals 'in or out' of the Gardaí investigation into the Dublin riots.

The investigation team will continue to consider how to progress and identify the small number of remaining 'person of interest' cases.

An Garda Síochána is not confirming at this time the role of any identified individual in the events of the Dublin riots and it should not be presumed that an identification means criminal involvement in these events.

An Garda Síochána is continuing the process of validating all nominations received. Each person subsequently confirmed as identified is entitled to and will be afforded due process in progressing their individual case.
