Husband killer Molly Martens returns to family's home town after prison release
by Nicola Donnelly · Irish MirrorEvil husband killer Molly Martens has moved back to the town where her family home is in Knoxville in Tennessee.
Molly and her killer dad Thomas Martens were released from prison in North Carolina in June having completed the remainder of their sentences for the manslaughter of Limerick businessman Jason Corbett.
They both served just four years and three months behind bars for the voluntary manslaughter of 39-year-old Jason.

Dad-of-two Jason was brutally beaten to death in the bedroom of his home in North Carolina in August 2015 by former nanny Molly and her ex-FBI agent dad Tom.
A metal baseball bat and a concrete brick were used to kill him while he slept in his bed.
Both Molly, 40, and Tom, 73, later claimed they acted in self-defence and in 2017 following a trial were found guilty of second-degree murder and were sentenced to between 20 and 25 years in prison.
However, they subsequently won a retrial after a challenge to the North Carolina Court of Appeal and then North Carolina Supreme Court.
The father and daughter then agreed a plea bargain with prosecutors in North Carolina last autumn, under which they accepted manslaughter charges in return for prosecutors dropping murder charges in the case.
Following their release from prison in June, it was understood that Molly was to live with one of her siblings while Tom moved back to the family home in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Molly and Thomas are subject to one year of post-release supervision by probation services.
And as convicted felons, they are not allowed to reside at the same address. Thomas Martens' family home is in Knoxville in Tennessee.
Now, in a victim notification email to Jason’s sister Tracey on Thursday, October 24, from North Carolina SAVAN Service, the service confirmed that Molly’s supervision has been approved to be transferred to the state of Tennessee.
This means evil Molly is now living in the same state as her dad.
However, it is unknown where she is going to live as she is not allowed to reside with Thomas.
In the email seen by The Irish Mirror, it stated that there has been an agreement between the North Carolina Section of Community Corrections and the State of Tennessee to approve the transfer of supervision of offender Molly Martens.
"The remainder of this offender’s sentence will be served in the State of Tennessee."
