Man, 60s, dies after Donegal collision as gardai to keep road closed overnight

At approximately 3.30pm on Tuesday, October 29, gardai and emergency services in Co Donegal responded to reports of a single-vehicle road traffic collision in Kerrykeel.
Upon arrival, they found the driver of the car involved in the collision, a male aged in his 60s, with injuries that proved fatal. The crash took place on the Shore Road.

The local coroner has now been notified and arrangements will be made to conduct a post-mortem examination in due course.
The road will remain closed overnight as gardai intend to continue a full technical examination of the scene in the morning.
Gardai have now issued an appeal for witnesses, particularly those who may have dashcam footage of the area around the time of the collision, to make contact with authorities.
A spokesperson for An Garda Siochana told The Irish Mirror: "Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact Milford Garda Station on 074 915 3060, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station."
