Person dies following crash north of Christchurch

A person has died in hospital after being injured in a crash in Pegasus, north of Christchurch.

They were in a car that hit a tree after leaving the road on Pegasus Boulevard, about 2.30pm on Tuesday 19 November.

Police said they died on Friday.

Enquiries are continuing into the crash.
