The BPSC 70th CCE Prelims 2024 exam date remains unchanged, the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) recently announced, dismissing any speculation about a date change for the 70th Integrated Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination (70th CCE Prelims). The exam will take place as planned on December 13 and 14, 2024.
BPSC described rumours of postponement to January 19, 2025, as "fake and misleading." Candidates are advised to follow official updates on the BPSC website, bpsc.bih.nic.in.
To encourage more registrations, the application deadline was extended from October 18 to November 4. Additionally, the commission increased vacancies from 1,957 to 2,027 posts across various departments under the Bihar government.
This recruitment drive has garnered massive interest, with an estimated 7–8 lakh aspirants expected to appear for the preliminary exam. Due to this overwhelming number, BPSC opted to hold the test over two days.

BPSC 70TH CCE PRELIMS 2024 ELIGIBILITY
Candidates with a graduate degree are eligible to appear for the exam. The test, originally slated for November 17, was rescheduled to December to manage logistics for the high number of aspirants.
