CBSE 2025 exam datesheet for Classes 10, 12 expected to be out in November

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to release the Class 10 and 12 date sheets for the 2025 board exams, expected by the last week of November. However, the official confirmation is still awaited. According to prior announcements, theoretical exams for both grades will begin on February 15, 2025. Students eagerly awaiting the detailed, subject-wise schedule will soon be able to check it on CBSE’s official website, i.e., cbse.gov.in.

For practical exams, CBSE has already issued the schedule: Practicals will start on January 1, 2025, for most schools, while winter-bound schools will hold these exams earlier, from November 5 to December 5, 2024.

This year’s CBSE board exams will see participation from over 44 lakh students across approximately 8,000 Indian schools and 26 international schools. The exams will take place on different dates between February and April for the 2024-25 academic year.

Once the date sheet is out, students can download the CBSE 2025 exam schedule in PDF format from the official website. CBSE will also provide standard operating procedures (SOPs) for schools to ensure smooth administration of the exams. Schools will communicate the finalised dates to students directly as well.
