Jamia Millia Islamia's Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) has begun accepting applications for its one-year Urdu language programme.
The course is offered in both Hindi and English mediums, providing accessibility to a broader audience.
For students in India, the enrolment fee for the one-year Urdu course at Jamia is Rs 500. Applicants from SAARC countries need to pay $20 (approximately Rs 1,694), while those from other countries must pay $50 (approximately Rs 4,214).
There is no tuition fee for the course, making it an affordable opportunity to learn the Urdu language.
HOW TO APPLY
Interested candidates can register for the course through the university's official website. Applicants must fill in their details, including name, parent’s names, category, Aadhaar number, date of birth, and address.
They can also choose their preferred language for the application form.
Alternatively, candidates can obtain the admission form and detailed prospectus from the office of the Honorary Director of Urdu Correspondence Course, CDOE, Jamia Millia Islamia, by sending a self-addressed 2412 cm envelope stamped with a Rs 10 postage stamp.
