Motorcyclist in his 20s dies in collision with car as police appeal for witnesses

The accident, which took place on the A511 near Coalville around 10:15 pm, involved an orange KTM 125 Duke motorcycle and a grey Hyundai i10.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was declared deceased at the scene, while the driver of the Hyundai, a woman in her 40s, sustained injuries not deemed life-threatening and was taken to hospital.
Leicestershire Police have confirmed that no arrests have been made but are appealing for witnesses as part of their ongoing investigation. They are particularly interested in any dashcam footage from drivers who were near the area where the incident occurred.
PC Ellise Timmins of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit has urged public cooperation, stating, "While several people stopped at the scene following the collision, I'm keen to speak to anyone who can help our investigation but who has not yet contacted police."
Moreover, she noted, "I'd like to speak to any motorists who were travelling on the A511 between Coalville and Ashby last night and who saw what happened or either of the vehicles involved beforehand. Our investigation into the circumstances of the collision is continuing. We are working to establish the full circumstances of what happened and would urge anyone who witnessed the collision to make contact.", reports Leicestershire Live.
