Man dies after fall at Birmingham's Bullring shopping centre

A tragic incident unfolded at a Midlands shopping centre after a man died following a fall. West Midlands Police have issued a statement confirming the incident, which took place at around 9pm on Friday (December 13).

Shoppers witnessed the man falling from an upper level of the centre, prompting emergency services to swiftly respond to the scene. Despite their efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene, reports Birmingham Live.

West Midlands Police have indicated that the incident is not being treated as suspicious and the matter will be referred to the city's coroner. A spokesperson for West Midlands Police confirmed the outcome, stating: "We were called at 9.04pm on Friday (December 13) after a man fell from the upper level of the Bullring. The man sadly died at the scene."

She added: "His next-of-kin have been informed and his death is not being treated as suspicious."
