A business park being sold off by Nottingham City Council to help address the authority's budget problems will go under the hammer. Miall Court in Radford has been listed on Rightmove with a guide price of £570,000.

The property, off Ilkeston Road, will be auctioned by Auction Estates on December 12. It's after a delegated decision was made to flog the unit in late October.

Comprising six units, currently home to businesses such as the Gracie Barra martial arts school, RW Autocar repairs and Hussain Autos MOT centre, the court spans 4,678 square feet in total. The units are secured by metal fences around the site.

It is being sold as a freehold. The total current rent reserved stands at £45,995 per year.

A statement in a council document regarding the selling of the asset said that the money would help contribute to the £36m worth of savings the council needs to make before 2027/28. It described Miall Court as a "poor quality" asset which is likely to underperform in the future".

Viewings can be arranged via appointment only.
