CCTV appeal after child's bike stolen from outside Mansfield shop

Police have launched a CCTV appeal after a child's bicycle was stolen from outside a Mansfield shop. Nottinghamshire Police says a boy's bike was taken from outside Currys PC World on Nottingham Road at about 5pm on September 19.

The bicycle was a black Carrera bike and officers have now released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to as part of their investigation. PC Tony Mait said: "This was an upsetting incident for the young victim in this case we are eager to track down the person or people responsible for this theft.

“To this end we believe the man pictured in this image has vital information an we encourage him to come forward as soon as possible." Anyone with any information is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident 541 of 19 September 2024.
