Police search after stranger snatches baby from mum's arms in attempted abduction

Officers said a stranger grabbed the baby from the mother’s arms and took off down the carriage with her. A relative managed to grab the baby back and the stranger is said to have left the service at Barnsley.
The incident happened at around 7.30pm on Saturday, August 17. British Transport Police have now issued an image of a man who officers believe may have information that could help their investigation.
