Urgent appeal for missing 17-year-old girl who is in Nottingham area

Alesha, 17, is missing from Manchester but police now believe she is in the Nottingham area

Police are appealing for information on a missing 17-year-old girl from Manchester who is believed to be in the Nottingham area. Alesha is described as being five foot tall with a medium build.

The 17-year-old is last known to have been wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a black jacket. Alesha was also wearing a long brown wavey wig.

Nottinghamshire Police says it is concerned for Alesha's safety and urgently wants to hear from anyone who has seen her. The teenager has short afro-style hair but often wears long wigs and has a stud in the left side of her nose.

Anyone who has seen Alesha, or who has any information about her whereabouts, can contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101. People should quote incident number 397 of September 20 when contacting police.
