Officers stopped and searched the vehicle at around 8.30pm yesterday, Wednesday, November 20, 2024. The force said "cocaine with an estimated street value in excess of £200,000 was recovered".
The search took place on the A9 near Ralia. Police Scotland said the man was charged and that a report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
No court dates have been set, but the force said he is expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court at a later date in connection with the seizure.
At 273 miles long, the A9 is also the fifth-longest A-road in the United Kingdom and passes Bridge of Allan, Perth and Inverness as it goes from the Stirling area to Thurso.
