Woman sexually assaulted by man on Glasgow train as police launch probe

A police investigation is underway after a woman was sexually assaulted by a man on a train to Glasgow.
The disturbing incident took place on board the service between Glasgow Central Station and Barrhead Railway Station. The woman, in her 20s, was travelling at around 5pm on November 25 when she was sexually assaulted by the man.
She confronted him and moved seats before she got off the train at Pollokshaws West. The man is described as a white, between his late 20s to early 30s, with dark hair, a beard, and wears glasses.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing a purple jumper and was carrying a black rucksack. Cops from British Transport Police have urged any witnesses, or anyone with information about the assault, to come forward.
