An urgent search has been launched for a man who vanished yesterday.
Officers are appealing for information to help trace Alexander Murray, who has been reported missing from Monifieth.
The 43-year-old was last seen around 8am on Thursday, 12 December, 2024, in Millhill.
He is described as around 6ft tall, of slim build, and bald. He was last seen wearing a black hat, black jacket, blue jeans and trainers and usually carries a black backpack.
Inspector Jill Dolan said: “We are increasingly concerned for Alexander’s welfare, and it is important that we ensure he is safe and well.
“We are appealing to anyone who may have seen Alexander or knows of his whereabouts to contact us.
“If Alexander sees or hears about this appeal, we would urge him to make contact with us or his family to let them know he is safe.”
Anyone who can help is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 3690 of Thursday, 12 December.
