Police issue urgent appeal over missing 'vulnerable' West Lothian mother and son

Police have issued an urgent public appeal to trace a missing 'vulnerable' mother and son who have not been seen since Sunday.

Broxburn mother and son Mary Fleming (66) and James Fleming (37) were last seen around 9pm on Sunday 14 November near Linlithgow Academy.

Mary Fleming

Mary is described as being a white female, 5’ 5’’, medium build with white hair. She was last seen wearing a blue jacket with a fur hood, carrying a dark leather bag, with black leggings and white sketchers on her feet.

James is described as being a white male, 5’4’’, skinny build, he has a goatee style beard, brown hair and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a beany hat. He may be wearing a camouflage style jacket and carrying a rucksack.

Both are known to travel via bus.

Sergeant Brodie of Broxburn Police Station states: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Mary and James and would urge members of the public with any information to please contact us immediately”
