Police have launched a probe after a man was seriously assaulted in Greenock.
Cops were alerted to an incident on East Shaw Street at around 8.30pm on Friday, November, 22. A 41-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
Detective Inspector Gordon Smith said: “Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this to contact us.
