Gregor Poynton MP has invited every primary school within the Livingston constituency to take part in his first Christmas Card Competition.

Mr Poynton is looking for a hand-drawn, festive picture to feature on the front of his Parliamentary Christmas cards which will sent to constituents, businesses, and local stakeholders over the festive period.

Every primary school in the Livingston constituency ha class or student is welcome to enter, and the artwork should be no larger than A5.

The theme of the card is “Christmas in Livingston,” as Mr. Poynton wants to capture what Christmas means to young residents.

The winning design will be featured on both printed and digital Christmas cards, and the winner will also receive a printed card featuring their own design.

Commenting on the competition, he said: “This is a chance to bring our community together for the holidays and to recognize what Christmas really means to our young people.

“I want to see encourage young people from all backgrounds to share what Christmas looks like across Livingston to them, in their homes and communities. That’s what Christmas is all about.

“I’m really looking forward to seeing the entries from pupils across Livingston this year.”

Anyone interested in participating should speak with their primary school and encourage them to contact Mr. Poynton’s office. at Craigs Farm Campus, Maree Walk, Livingston EH54 5BP or scanned copies via email to Gregor.Poynton.MP@Parliament.UK.
