Man rushed to hospital after 'stabbing' in Scots town

A man and woman have been arrested in connection with the incident.

A man has been rushed to hospital after a man was 'stabbed' in a Scots town.

Cops were alerted to the incident on Commercial Road in Leven at around 4pm on Thursday, September 19. A 37-year-old man was seriously assaulted and rushed to hospital but no more information is available on his condition at this stage.

Officers confirmed a 44-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man have been arrested. An image shows police tape at the scene, with two cops standing nearby and a police car parked on the street.

Police Scotland say their enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Around 4pm on Thursday, 19 September, 2024, officers received a report of a serious assault on Commercial Road, Leven.
