Monrovia – The Division for Press and Public Affairs at the Ministry of Transport has strongly rejected allegations circulating on social media and radio stations, accusing Minister Sirleaf Ralph Tyler of using the Ministry’s accounts to influence leadership conflicts at the Liberian House of Representatives.

In a statement issued on behalf of the Ministry, Press Secretary Shadrach D. Brown described the allegations as “unfounded and malicious,” emphasizing that they are part of a calculated attempt by self-proclaimed “blockers” to tarnish the reputation of Minister Tyler and the Ministry of Transport.

“These baseless allegations aim solely to undermine the integrity of the Minister and the Ministry,” the statement read. “We urge the public to remain vigilant against harmful misinformation, which seeks to exploit and tarnish Minister Tyler and the Ministry’s reputation for ulterior motives.”

The Ministry warned that such deceptive narratives not only jeopardize its integrity but also serve as a distraction from the critical work of advancing Liberia’s development goals. Minister Tyler, the statement clarified, operates within the executive branch of government and holds no legislative authority. His primary focus, the Ministry asserted, is on generating greater revenues for the benefit of the Liberian people.

“Minister Tyler remains committed to his duties, and these malicious attacks will not deter him,” Brown said, further encouraging Liberians to rely on credible sources of information and reject those spreading falsehoods for personal gain.

The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to integrity, unity, and constructive dialogue in Liberia’s governance. “Let us work together to focus on a brighter future for Liberia,” the statement concluded.
