Muscogee County Sheriff’s deputies and U.S. Marshalls arrest woman on attempted murder charges

MUSCOGEE COUNTY, Ga. (WRBL) — A joint operation between the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Marshalls, the Phenix City Police Department and Columbus Police Department resulted in the arrest of a woman wanted for attempted murder.

Yolanda Crawford was arrested by police at a motel in Muscogee County. She is being charged with felony attempted murder related to a shooting that occurred in Phenix City in early October.

Authorities say Crawford was taken into custody without incident and is being held in the Muscogee County Jail. She is awaiting extradition back to Alabama.
