Covering election live

Castanet News will once again provide in-depth coverage of today’s provincial election with a special focus on the 12 ridings within the Southern Interior.

Kelowna city councillor Mohini Singh will join Castanet reporters Wayne Moore and Al Waters to bring you the issues that matter across the region in a live broadcast.

Nineteen reporters, the largest news team in the Southern Interior, will preview each riding and speak with the winners and losers on election night.

Our live broadcast will begin at 7:15 p.m. Saturday night.

With the use of new electronic tabulation technology, results are expected to begin coming in about 8:15 p.m. Most of the results should be released within an hour of polls being closed.
