A spooktacular Halloween staple for countless Kelowna families is lurching into being for another year.

The Family Monster Bash, which offers everything from bouncy houses, to zorb soccer and a plethora of Halloween games, will be held Oct. 27 at MNP Place, 4105 Gordon Drive, from 1 to 4 p.m.

City of Kelowna hosts the event and its staff said in a press release, the bash is free to attend but a donation for the Central Okanagan Food Bank is welcomed. Collection bins will be stationed at the door.

The event is recommended for ages two to 12, but all friendly monsters are welcome to attend.

The concession stand will be open and, to go with the free skating, skate rentals will be available on-site. Bringing a helmet is a must.
