Time is running out to get your hands on the wheel of one of the sweetest golf carts you will ever drive.

There are only two days left to purchase tickets for the Flame Chaser Raffle, which is being conducted by Consolidated Supply Kelowna to raise money for Kelowna Professional Firefighters Charitable Society.

Consolidated Supply Kelowna owners Ashley and Chris Buechler really want to reach their fundraising goal of $25,000 to help the real heroes of the Central Okanagan.

“We started brainstorming on this project last year and pulled it together this year with some help,” Ashley Buechler says. “We’re raising funds through the raffle, and the winner will receive a very unique, top of the line, firefighter themed, fully customized golf cart.”

Since Consolidated Supply Kelowna sells Club Car golf carts—among many other services—the Beuchlers decided to outfit an Onward Golf Cart with a firefighter theme, Kelowna Professional Firefighters Charitable Society logo and high-end add-ons, including stereo, LED lights, custom paint and upholstery.

In addition to the striking firefighter-themed design, the cart needed a special armour; the guys at A2D Autobody and Detailing took that task and ran with it, donating their time and tools to create an iridescent paint job that changes colour depending on the angle you are looking at it.

Fibrenew was happy to dream up a one-of-a-kind upholstery pattern on the seats free of charge; they have a retired firefighter in the family who popped by Kelowna’s Station 1 to contribute his autograph along with all of the other firefighters from the station whose signatures adorn the cart’s roof.

The cart, which is valued at approximately $25,000, will turn heads on the golf course and gain plenty of attention in the campground if you decide to use it for summer vacation transportation purposes.

The ticket sales window will close at 11 a.m. on Sunday, and the draw will be held at noon during the annual Kelowna Fire Department’s open house event on Bernard Avenue, between the Sails and Water Street.

Consolidated Supply Kelowna, known for its extensive offerings in golf, irrigation, landscaping, and lawn and garden industries, will continue to do what it can to support the community, which is what the Flame Chaser Raffle will do with your support.

Those interested in supporting a worthy cause and potentially winning the unique golf cart can purchase tickets online here.
