Police say alcohol is believed to have been a factor in a rollover crash last weekend near Savona that left debris scattered across the roadway.

Mounties were called to a report of a crash on Sabiston Creek Road just before 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21.

RCMP Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said a silver Ford pickup truck rolled multiple times before coming to a rest on its roof, spilling its contents across the road.

“A woman associated to the vehicle was located nearby by ambulance,” she said. “She confirmed two other occupants had left the scene and were OK.”

Evelyn said alcohol is believed to have been a factor.
