No injuries in RV fire

The Penticton Fire Department snuffed out an RV fire on Burnaby Avenue near Westminster Avenue late Thursday afternoon.
The fire captain on scene told Castanet the call came in as a structure fire, and they arrived to find an RV parked on the side of the road with flames and smoke.
The RV appeared to have been parked for a while and had signs of someone living inside it.
No occupants were found when crews arrived and no injuries were reported.

An RV caught fire on Burnaby Avenue near Westminster Avenue in Penticton Thursday afternoon.
Castanet's Casey Richardson reports multiple fire vehicles on scene as of 3:40 p.m., and RCMP.
She also reports that, according to information on scene, thankfully no one was inside the vehicle at the time.
Burnaby Avenue traffic is impacted.
