An investigation has been launched after a woman was racially abused in Plymouth. Police officers are searching for two women in connection with the incident on Friday, September 13, when a woman was scratched on her face in Manor Gardens.

Devon and Cornwall Police say the victim was subjected to racist abuse by two women as she was walking to her car. A second woman who tried to intervene was also assaulted.

Police officers have issued CCTV photos of the two women they wish to identify in connection with the incident. They are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise them, as it is believed they can aid the investigation.
