Man found dead at property in Stonehouse

A man's body has been found at a property in Stonehouse. There has been a police presence at the scene for much of the day.

Devon and Cornwall Police were contacted this morning with reports of a concern for a man at the house, which was in North Road West, Stonehouse, at around 10am today, Thursday, November 21. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death will take place.

Witnesses told PlymouthLive they saw two police cars and an ambulance at the junction of North Road West with Cecil Street and police officers entering and leaving the address this morning. This afternoon police have stated that a man at the address had died.

A police spokesperson said: "A man has been confirmed deceased. The death is not believed to be suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
