by · PlymouthLive

A young man accused of stalking a Plymouth police officer is set to face trial next year. Ryan Felknor, of Notte Street, Plymouth was arrested following a series of alleged incidents involving a Plymouth police officer. Felknor, 23, has denied the offence and will face trial on a date which is currently set for late next year.

According to court documents, Felknor is alleged to have "pursued a course of conduct which amounted to stalking" of the officer between July 21, 2023 and August 1, 2024, causing the officer "serious alarm or distress, which had an adverse effect on their usual day-to-day activities".

The charge goes on to note a series of incidents that Felknor is alleged to have carried out, including attending the officer's place of work on multiple occasions; using a megaphone to make comments about the officer at their place of work; standing outside the gates of the officer's place of work - namely Charles Cross police station - filming on his mobile phone.

In addition, Felknor is alleged to have followed the officer while they were carrying out their duties as a constable; approached colleagues of the officer and made derogatory comments about the officer; sent an e-mail to colleagues of the officer making false allegations about the officer's behaviour; posted videos, photographs and comments about the officer on social media; attended another police station which he believed the officer had transferred to.

Felknor is also alleged to have worn a T-shirt with the officer's face printed onto it while outside the officer's station and was found in possession of A4 printouts of the officer's image while outside the officer's station.

The charge also alleges that Felknor made threats towards the officer.

Felknor has been released on conditional bail until the trial which is listed for September 8, 2025.
