A man has appeared in court charged with a number of motoring offences after a car crashed in a residential street in Plymouth.

Daniel Hunter, aged 43 and of no fixed abode, appeared at Plymouth Magistrates' court on October 25 following his arrest the previous evening following an incident in Mount Gould Road. Police had witnessed a car driving erratically in a number of roads before it crashed.

Hunter was later charged with four offences - dangerous driving of a Seat Leon in Mount Gould Road, Beaumont Road and Ladysmith Road on October 24; driving without a licence; driving without suitable insurance and failing to provide a specimen of bloody for analysis at Derriford Hospital.

Hunter was granted conditional bail by the magistrates and will next appear at Plymouth Crown Court for a plea and directions hearing on November 25.
