Police hunt launched after woman attacked in Plymouth

A woman was punched a number of times before having money stolen from her purse in Plymouth. Investigating officers from Devon and Cornwall Police have released a picture of three people they would like to identify following the robbery on Friday, August 23.

The victim was approached by the unknown offenders on Hotham Place at around 11.50pm. They then attacked her and robbed her of her money.

The first person in the picture is described as a white male with brown hair, while the second is described as a white male with gingery brown hair and was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and was riding a bike. The third person is described as a female with red hair with half of her hair tied up in a bun.

Police are urging anyone with information on the robbery to come forward. They believe the three people pictured can help with their enquiries.

Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police are aware of the low quality of the image, but it is all they have access to at present. Anyone with information should contact police with information via the force website or call 101, quoting reference number 50240214097."
