Foundation stone for flyovers around Hyderabad’s KBR Park on December 3
Aaramghar-Zoopark flyover, six STPs and rainwater holding structures too would be inaugurated by Telangana CM
by The Hindu Bureau · The HinduThe foundation stone for the multilevel flyovers at six junctions around KBR Park in Hyderabad would be laid by Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on December 3, as part of the ‘Praja Palana - Praja Vijayotsavalu’. The celebrations would be held from December 1-9 to mark one year of Congress government in the State. The State government in October gave administrative sanction to construction of flyovers and underpasses around the park.
The Chief Minister, who also holds the Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) portfolio, will lay the foundation stones for some more major works and inaugurate infrastructure projects in the city on the day.
As per official communication, the Chief Minister will also lay the foundation stone for ₹5492 crore worth Hyderabad City Innovation and Transformative Infrastructure (HCITI) project works, and ₹586 crore worth Strategic Nala Development Project (SNDP) foundation or grounding works.
Aaramghat to Zoopark flyover, Six STPs
Mr. Reddy would inaugurate the six-lane flyover between Aaramghar to Nehru Zoological Park in Bahadurpura. He would inaugurate the much-awaited Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) in six places: Mir Alam, Nagole, Khaja Kunta. Fatehnagar, Safilguda and Miyapur-Patelcheruvu.
Rainwater holding structures
Rainwater holding structures in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) area too would be inaugurated. The structures were planned to prevent flooding during rains in the city.
