Woman’s death: lookout notice issued for suspected Thrissur native

The city police on Wednesday (November 27) issued a lookout notice in search of a 28-year-old man from Thrissur district who was suspected of murdering a woman in a hotel room at Eranhipalam in Kozhikode district.

The suspect, Abdul Sanoof of Talappilly, reportedly fled the spot after the alleged murder on Monday (November 25) night. An intensified search was on for him, the police said, adding that on the basis of preliminary investigation it was confirmed to be a murder.

It was on Tuesday (November 26) morning that the body of the woman, identified as Faseela Panthalath, was found in the hotel room. According to the police, Abdul Sanoof and Faseela had secured the room on Sunday (November 24). The man left the spot the next day around 10 p.m. without informing the hotel staff, the police added.
