Andhra Pradesh Minister for Endowments Anam Ramanarayana Reddy has reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to enhancing the experience of pilgrims visiting the sacred shrine of Tirumala.

Speaking to the media on November 28 (Thursday), Mr. Ramanarayana Reddy emphasised that ensuring a fulfilling spiritual journey for the devotees remained the government’s top priority.

“The initiatives undertaken by our government to restore Tirumala’s lost glory, which was compromised during the previous administration, are yielding significant results,” he said, and highlighted that within months of assuming office the government implemented key reforms to streamline services and improve facilities, ensuring a smooth and memorable experience for the devotees.

Underlining the “remarkable improvement” in the quality of prasadams and pilgrim-related services, the Minister said devotees were elated at the reforms in the temple, and noted that their feedback had been overwhelmingly positive.

He also mentioned about the reintroduction of the ‘suggestion and complaint’ book for devotees, which had previously been inaccessible.

“We are encouraging pilgrims to share their opinions and suggestions openly. This transparent approach helps us identify areas for improvement and deliver better services,” the Minister said.

Mr. Ramanarayana Reddy credited Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for his visionary leadership in ushering significant changes at Tirumala, and said that the primary mission of both the government and the TTD was to extend top-notch services to the devout.
