Ibrahimpatnam Inspector attached to Commissioner’s office

Less than a fortnight after a women police officer was murdered by her brother for marrying in a different community, Ibrahimpatnam Inspector B. Satyanarayana, who was investigating the case, was attached to the Rachakonda Commissioner’s Office for alleged negligence.

The action was reportedly taken for his delay in arresting Shiva, the second suspect in the murder case.

The deceased Nagamani’s brother Paramesh was earlier arrested. However Paramesh’s friend Shiva who was also involved was absconding since the murder on December 2.

A departmental inquiry has been initiated in the matter.
