KVM Trust bags award for employing the differently abled
by The Hindu Bureau · The HinduThe Cherthala-based KVM Trust has bagged an award instituted by the Social Justice department. In a statement issued here on Friday, KVM Trust officials said that it won the prize for employing differently abled people in its institutions. The award consists of ₹20,000 cash prize and a memento, which will be presented by Social Justice Minister R. Bindu at a function to be held in Thrissur on December 3. Founded in 1983, KVM Trust has 14 educational institutions, including a college and school for special education. Differently abled children are given education, skill development training and employment by KVM Trust.
