Attack on CPI(M) worker: Maradu police register case

The Maradu police registered a case on October 6 (Sunday) in connection with the attack on a local committee member of the CPI(M) and two of his friends by a group of people near the party office.

A total of eight people have been arraigned as accused in the case which reportedly pertains to the fallout of action being taken against eight supporters of the party following alleged detection of irregularities, including in a consumer store.
