Women will get free bus service very soon, says Srikakulam MLA

Srikakulam MLA Gondu Shankar on Wednesday said that National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government will soon provide free bus service for women as promised during the 2024 general elections. He formally launched 25 new bus services in a programme organised in Srikakulam Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) complex.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the additional bus services would help women have a hassle-free travel in the future. He alleged that the previous YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government ignored repairs and maintenance of buses, let alone launching new services. Several APSRTC officials were present at the programme.
