Man and woman named as murder suspects after Blackpool hotel death
by James Holt · Manchester Evening NewsTwo suspects have been charged with murder after a 59-year-old man was found stabbed in a Blackpool hotel on Sunday (November 10).
Police and paramedics were called to the Garfield Hotel on Springfield Road after a concern for welfare call. The victim, now named and pictured as Kevin Price, was found dead inside with stab wounds.
Lancashire Police launched a murder investigation into the death of Mr Price, who lived at the hotel. A post mortem revealed he died as a result of his knife wounds.

On Thursday night (November 14), the force charged two suspects with murder. Adam Saunders, 50, of Regent Road, Blackpool, and Helen Kenyon, 38, of Cheltenham Road, Blackpool, were remanded in custody to appear before Lancaster Magistrates’ Court on Friday (November 15).
Kevin’s family continue to be supported by specially trained officers and have been told of the latest developments, Lancashire Police said.
Detective Chief Insp Simon Pritchard, of the Force Major Investigation Team, said: “My thoughts remain with Kevin’s loved ones. His family have been told of the latest developments.
“I am really grateful to everyone who has come forward during the course of the week with information to assist in our enquiries and while we have now charged two people, I would continue to appeal to anyone who can help to get in touch."
