Man who went missing for days after flying to Tenerife FOUND safe and well
by Stephen Topping · Manchester Evening NewsAn electrician from Greater Manchester who went missing after flying to Tenerife has been found safe. Kris Finney, from Ramsbottom, jetted off to the Canary Island last Thursday morning (October 31).
The 31-year-old spoke to his mum to confirm he had landed, but he did not meet his friend who he had arranged to see. His family had not heard from Kris following that phone call.
The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) confirmed earlier today that it was aware of Kris' disappearance. But in a positive update this afternoon, Kris' family confirmed he has been found safe.

He was found today (Monday) and spoke to his family, including aunt Debbie Kenyon, who has been in contact with the Manchester Evening News. It's understood the FCDO liaised with local police in Tenerife earlier today for enquiries to begin into Kris' disappearance.
The British Consulate reportedly contacted various hospitals on the island. It's understood that Kris' friend, who he was supposed to meet last Thursday, had been spoken to by police.
Debbie confirmed that a woman found Kris and lent him her phone to use after taking him to her shop, before he called his family. Kris had told his mum last Thursday that he had arrived in Tenerife, but his phone battery was low.
He spoke to friends at around 9pm last Thursday prior to his disappearance, and was known to be in Playa de las Americas. An FCDO spokesperson said earlier today: "We are supporting the family of a British man reported missing in Spain and are in contact with the local authorities.”
