Police issue urgent appeal to find boy missing for five days

Police have issued an urgent appeal to find a boy who has been missing for five days.

Tyler, whose surname has not been disclosed, was last seen in Denton, Tameside, at about 2:30pm on Friday (October 4). He is described as 5ft 7ins tall with brown curly shoulder-length hair, which is possibly in a ponytail.

He was last seen wearing light grey bottoms, a white or grey hoodie, black trainers and a black puffy coat. A photo of Tyler was shared by Greater Manchester Police, who urged anyone with information to get in touch immediately.

In a post on Facebook, a spokesperson for the force wrote: "Have you seen Tyler from #Tameside? Tyler was last seen in Denton at around 2:30pm on Friday 5 October 2024.

"Officers want to make sure he is safe and well. Any info? Contact GMP on 0161 856 1302 or 101, quoting log 3322 of 05/10/24."
