Police probe as parcel lockers outside Morrisons ransacked and emptied

by · Manchester Evening News

An investigation is underway after a number of parcel lockers outside a Morrisons supermarket in Tameside were ransacked and left empty.

The incident is believed to have happened overnight on Wednesday (November 27) into Thursday. On Thursday morning (November 28), pictures showed several of the InPost lockers outside the supermarket on Foundry Street left smashed and damaged.

Many appeared to have been left empty, though it has not yet been confirmed whether any parcels were stolen. The lockers are used to store parcels ordered by customers online, with the popular service particularly busy at this time of year with people buying Christmas gifts.
