Balaclava-clad thugs chased teenager into park before stealing e-bikes and clothes

by · Manchester Evening News

Three 'armed' thugs chased a teenager on mopeds before stealing from him and his friends. Two e-bikes, a coat and a hat were taken from the young victims in Handforth, near Wilmslow.

Officers were called out to reports of a robbery on Meriton Road at around 5pm on Sunday (October 13). Cheshire Police says that a teenager, who had travelled on his e-bike from Meriton Road Park, was approached by the three suspects near the junction of Meriton Road and Wilmslow Road.

The suspects, who were all riding mopeds, chased the teenager back to the park - where he joined his three friends. The offenders then approached the group, stole from their young victims and left the scene.
