Police 'concerned' about 82-year-old who went missing yesterday

Police are 'becoming concerned' about an 82-year-old man who went missing yesterday.

Frederick, who has mobility issues, was last seen on Ledburn Close in Hulme at around 5pm on Saturday (October 19). He was wearing baggy trousers and a jumper, according to Greater Manchester Police.

The force has now issued an appeal urging members of the public who have information about this whereabouts to come forward. Posting the appeal on social media, GMP said that they want to make sure that the 82-year-old is safe and well.

Frederick is described as being 5'3 tall with no facial hair. He does not have a mobile phone, according to the police.

In a post on Facebook, the force wrote: "#MISSING | Can you help us find missing Frederick? He was last seen on Ledburn Close, Hulme, at around 5pm on Saturday 19 October.

"Frederick has no mobile and has mobility issues. He is 5'3 tall, with no facial hair and was last seen wearing baggy trousers and a jumper."
