Tributes paid to 'lovely man' and 'beautiful soul', 59, found dead with stab wounds in hotel
by James Holt · Manchester Evening NewsTributes have been paid to a 'lovely man' who was found dead in a hotel in Blackpool last weekend. Kevin Price, 59, died from stab injuries after his body had been discovered by police at the Garfield Hotel, on Springfield Road, on Sunday (November 10).
Emergency services had been called to a concern for welfare report at the hotel, where Kevin lived. A post mortem has confirmed he died from stab wounds.
A murder probe was launched, with Lancashire Police arresting two suspects in connection with Mr Price's death. The force has since charged Adam Saunders, 50, of Regent Road, Blackpool, and Helen Kenyon, 38, of Cheltenham Road, Blackpool, with murder.

The pair were remanded in custody to appear before Lancaster Magistrates’ Court on Friday (November 15). Following Kevin's death, tributes flooded social media, as he was remembered as a 'beautiful soul' and a 'lovely man'.
On Facebook, Damian Fannon said: "God rest his soul such a nice man known for many many many years," as John Pearce penned: "R.I.P Kevin this was very sad news I had known Kevin for over 25 years although we wasn't best of friends lately he was a kind person tried to help people."
Peter Griffindale wrote: "My dear friend, I'm distraught to learn this awful news. You are and always will be a beautiful soul of a man, I Love you dearly," as Michael Harpley penned: "Used to see him regularly walking his dog I lived two doors down. So tragic RIP, was a lovely man to speak to."

Kevin’s family continue to be supported by specially trained officers and have been told of the latest developments, Lancashire Police said.
Detective Chief Insp Simon Pritchard, of the Force Major Investigation Team, said: “My thoughts remain with Kevin’s loved ones. His family have been told of the latest developments.
“I am really grateful to everyone who has come forward during the course of the week with information to assist in our enquiries and while we have now charged two people, I would continue to appeal to anyone who can help to get in touch."
