A third suspect has been arrested after a man was attacked following a car crash in Oldham. Officers responded to a collision involving two cars on Denton Lane, in Chadderton, at around 11.35pm on Tuesday (October 22).

It's believed a man was assaulted at the scene following the crash. Greater Manchester Police previously stated that a man had suffered 'life-changing injuries' and was rushed to hospital following the attack.

A 22-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were previously arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault (grievous bodily harm). In an update issued this afternoon (Thursday), GMP confirmed that another 22-year-old man had also been arrested on suspicion of assault.
